Luke Kokoszka is a Montréal-based composer, producer, sound designer, and multi-instrumentalist whose music exists at the intersection of ambient, electronic, and modern classical. His albums are written and arranged on hardware synthesizers in his home studio, shaping a deeply immersive and emotionally resonant listening experience. As Le Devoir writes, “Luke Kokoszka transcends the boundaries of the sound world… an enveloping melancholy unfolds… illuminated by a fragile glow, like the promise of hope.”

After spending more than 15 years playing in bands throughout Vancouver, British Columbia, Luke Kokoszka shifted toward hardware synthesis as a more solitary and expressive musical language. That transition has led to a growing international audience, with over 180,000 listeners across more than 160 countries and more than half a million streams worldwide. His music has been featured on playlists and radio programs around the globe, including Noods Radio and KEXP’s Pacific Notions. 
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Nils Frahm, Tim Hecker, and Hiroshi Yoshimura, as well as the emotional pacing of film and literature, Luke Kokoszka favours atmosphere and narrative over traditional song structures. Lush pads, drifting melodies, intricate arpeggios, and layers of reverb and tape texture ebb and flow, creating cinematic soundscapes that feel like memories suspended in time.
