Now based out of Montreal, Quebec, Luke Kokoszka spent the last 15+ years playing in all kinds of bands from black metal to art rock on the unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, also known as Vancouver, BC area. Since relocating to Montreal, Luke Kokoszka has found himself exploring new sonic territory from the comfort of his home studio, where he designs sounds on hardware synthesizers, composes and records songs, and works alongside his four-legged studio assistant, Mr B.

Luke Kokoszka creates emotional sonic landscapes, places to get lost in. Drawing on influences from ambient to electronica to neo-classical, in addition to the emotional resonance of literature, photography, and other art forms, he utilizes a world of artistic inspiration to find his own voice and bring it into the world.
